Introduction to our Philanthropic Partners
Through service and fundraising for charitable organizations, our chapter's members demonstrate their commitment to spreading the widest influence for good for our two philanthropic partners: Silicon Valley Court Appointed Special Advocate/Guardian ad Litem (CASA/GAL) and the Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation.
Silicon Valley CASA Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Court Appointed Special Advocates in their mission to give every abused or neglected child a safe and permanent home, and the Theta Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose vision is to give every Theta every opportunity to make a difference.
No matter the time of year or the event, Thetas are committed to making the world a better place.
Our Events
KATs and Dogs, Crepes for CASA, and Theta Dodgeball are our three recurring philanthropy events throughout the school year.
KATs and Dogs is our annual cookout which also features a campus band! It gives us the opportunity to connect and spend time with our greater greek community.
Crepes for CASA is our parents weekend fundraiser where all of our chapter's members families get a chance to come together in support of our partner philanthropies. This also gives our families a chance to get to know our Eta Lambda chapter and what we love about it!
Theta Dodgeball is our spring philanthropy event which brings together all organizations in our greek community here at Santa Clara!
